Children's Mindfulness for Stressful Events

About the Event
Stress is no longer associated with just adults and teens. With many younger students about to sit their 11+exam or SATS in the spring we want to provide a 2 hour mindfulness workshop to teach them some valuable breathing techniques in order to help them build their resilience and enable them to cope with stress and difficult situations. Mindfulness encourages children to talk about their feelings and can help them to uncover their inner calm. We will be joined by our panel expert Emma Fiveash, a primary school teacher and owner of Mindful Magic Cobham. As well as some practical activities we will also talk to the children about the importance of sleep, movement and nutrition.
